As per reports, Hydrometeorological Center of Russia has issued a yellow weather warning for Moscow and Moscow Oblast for Saturday (26 September) amid heavy fog.
• The warning period is valid from 0000 hours local time (2100 hours UTC on 25 September) to 0800 hours local time (0500 hours UTC) on Saturday (26 September), covering nighttime and early morning hours when fog is most likely to form and persist.
• Fog is forecast to be patchy across Moscow city and Moscow Oblast, with visibility reductions most pronounced in low‑lying areas, near water bodies and on approach roads to Sheremetyevo International Airport (SVO), Moscow, Russia, Moscow Domodedovo Airport (DME), Moscow, Russia, Vnukovo International Airport (VKO), Moscow, Russia.
• As per forecasts, visibility is likely to drop below 500 to 1000 metres across the Oblast.
