The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) reported a 4.2 magnitude earthquake approximately 12 kilometers northeast of Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara, at 1058 hours (local time) on Monday (31 August).
The earthquake occurred at a depth of 12 kilometers.
