As per reports, at approximately 2142 hours local time (1942 hours UTC) a shooting incident was reported on Rue Masses Diarbois in Ransart, Charleroi, Belgium, on Sunday (04 October), following a reported dispute that allegedly escalated near a café.
• Local residents reported hearing multiple gunshots and several explosions during the evening. Initial reports indicated that an individual involved in the dispute allegedly left the scene before returning and firing several shots. The precise circumstances, number of individuals involved and potential presence of two vehicles remain unconfirmed.
• Reports as of 2230 hours local time (2030 hours UTC) indicate that local police established a security perimeter around the incident location, with traffic temporarily stopped near the Aldi store on Rue Masses Diarbois.
