As per reports, Latvia Meteorological Service has forecast inclement weather conditions characterized by rainfall and strong winds in multiple regions in Latvia on Wednesday (02 September).
• The air temperature is expected to reach 18 to 21 degrees celsius.
• The wind is expected to blow slowly to moderately from the west, with gusts of up to 14 meters per second expected in places due to heavy rainfall.
• In Riga, rainfall is expected with possible thunderstorms. With a slow to moderate westerly wind, the maximum air temperature is expected to be 20 degrees celsius.
• The highest amount of rainfall in the last 24 hours was recorded in Priekuļi, Cēsis municipality, where it reached 79.3 millimeters.
• The second highest amount of rainfall was recorded in Zosēni, Cēsis region, where it reached 54.4 millimeters.
