The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the following Forecast and Nowcast warnings for Jharkhand on Tuesday (15 September).
• Warning: A yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, squalls, and strong surface winds across all districts of Jharkhand.
• Nowcast: A yellow alert has been issued for light rainfall of less than 05 millimetres per hour, light thunderstorms with maximum surface wind speeds of less than 40 kilometres per hour, and a low probability of cloud-to-ground lightning of less than 30 percent in Godda, Dumka, and Deoghar. The alert is valid until 0530 hours (local time) on Tuesday (15 September).
