As per reports, the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) announced a full temporary closure of Woodside Bridge on Secondary Highway 373 near Corvallis starting Tuesday (22 September).
• Reports suggest that the closure is required to conduct subsurface geotechnical drilling and groundwater investigations as part of preliminary design plans for a replacement bridge.
• Reports indicate that vehicle access to the adjacent Woodside Bridge Fishing Access Site (FAS) is scheduled to remain closed to motorized transport, though pedestrian footpaths are expected to remain open.
• Reports indicate that active bridge blockades and drilling operations are scheduled to remain active from 0800 hours local time (1400 hours UTC) on Tuesday (22 September) until 1900 hours local time on Friday (25 September) (0100 hours UTC) on Saturday (26 September).
