Pico y Placa vehicle restriction scheduled in Bogota on Tuesday (15 September)

As per reports, the Secretaría Distrital de Movilidad (SDM) of Bogotá has confirmed the Pico y Placa vehicle circulation restriction applicable to private vehicles and taxis in Bogotá on Tuesday (15 September).

• Private vehicles (vehículos particulares) with licence plates ending in six, seven, eight, nine and zero are restricted from circulating in Bogotá from 0600 hours local time (1100 hours UTC) to 2100 hours local time (0200 hours UTC on 16 September) on Tuesday (15 September).
• Vehicles with plates ending in one, two, three, four and five are permitted to circulate.
• Taxis with licence plates ending in seven and eight are restricted from circulating from 0530 hours local time (1030 hours UTC) to 2100 hours local time (0200 hours UTC on 16 September) on Tuesday (15 September).
• Taxis with plates ending in one, two, three, four, five, six, nine and zero are permitted to circulate.
• Exemptions from the restriction may be obtained by registering on the Pico y Placa Solidario scheme via the official platform of the Secretaría Distrital de Movilidad. Payment is made exclusively through the PSE button on the official website. The SDM has confirmed that it has no authorised intermediaries or third-party websites for this purpose.
