As per reports, President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo is scheduled to present her Second Government Report in Mexico City on Tuesday (01 September). The report covers the progress of her policies during the second year of her six-year term, including security, infrastructure, health, social programmes and public finances.
• President Sheinbaum is scheduled to deliver a speech at 1100 hours local time (1730 hours UTC) on Tuesday (01 September). The usual daily press conference, La Mañanera del Pueblo, is suspended for the day because of the report.
• The official document is scheduled to be delivered to the Congress of the Union by Rosa Icela Rodríguez, head of the Secretariat of the Interior (Segob), at the Legislative Palace of San Lázaro.
• Tuesday (01 September) remains a regular working and school day. Public transport services are also scheduled to operate as usual.
